: FINALLY managed to figure out how to get Steam overlay controller input to work with Fallout New Vegas, though it doesn't play nice with the configuration menu. Does the controller's D-pad do anything by default? I forget.
Maybe the Steam Overlay can do something. maybe there is a way around this without installing that other program. I can imagine some people would probably drive an actual car with mouse & keyboard if they could. I mean not having controller support for this seems to me like making a car without a steering wheel. But then I guess maybe what I thought was unanimous was actually kinda niche. Just a few moments ago I was looking in confusion at the menu screen telling me this and thinking: "Are there actually people who don't use controller for this game?!". I'd just like to take a moment to note how utterly baffled I am that this mod doesn't support Controller inputs by default. You can follow the manual installation instructions for MO mods, and bring this to the attention of the MO2 devs. This is affecting the install for Project Nevada. Something has changed in the way MO2 handles FOMOD installers.
